Alamo Golf Club is a complete golf facility with 18 hole golf course, two story driving range and new Par 3 Pitch and Putt. This well-manicured course has fairways that are lined with palm trees. Olmos Basin Municipal Golf Course is one of San Antonio's most popular municipal golf courses located just north of Olmos Dam in the Olmos Flood Basin, off the beaten path of Highway 281. Olmos has been the site of numerous men's, ladies', and amateur city championships over the years. Stray from the busy highway with this honest, straightforward test of golf that offers a little bit of everything: narrow, tree-lined fairways that require accuracy with your driver and long irons; occasional water hazards and creeks to contemplate; long, demanding par 3 holes; and a couple of reachable par 4s that beg for you to pull the big dog out of your bag and let it rip.

As demanding as it is beautiful, Cedar Creek Golf Course winds its way through limestone hillsides, taking a golfer up and down steep elevation changes, through oak thickets, and around several waterfalls and meandering creeks. While the fairways are generous, the multi-tiered greens demand accurate iron shots and put a premium on the short game.

Its windy, wide open spaces take many of Cedar Creek's trees out of play, making it quite challenging, as do more than 120 sand traps and numerous water hazards spread across the course offer consequences for the flaws in your gameYou'll need your short game for Mission's multi-tiered greens. Riverside Municipal Golf Course is a golf course for the entire family. This San Antonio public golf course, located just south of downtown, features an 18-hole championship layout for the seasoned golfers in the family and a 9-hole, par 3 course for beginners. As the name suggests, the San Antonio River lines several holes. Trees on the front nine require you to keep it straight, particularly the one blocking the right side of the seventh fairway, while the back nine give you the chance to grip it and rip it.

Willow Springs Municipal Golf Course has been a true test for many San Antonio golfers over the years. Large ponds and the Salado Creek are frequent collectors of misguided golf balls. The 663-yard, winding par 5 second hole, and its well-guarded green, is the longest hole in San Antonio.

Only 10 minutes from downtown San Antonio's world famous Riverwalk, The Republic Golf Club provides magnificent golf with the feeling that a little Texas history whistles through the trees. Designer Keith Foster created a unique layout where the front nine is reminiscent of British Open links-style courses: no trees, deep heather rough and an ever-present breeze to bedevil you. However, it's the back nine that amazes most golfers. All nine holes are set in an 86-acre limestone quarry, winding around its 100-foot-tall perimeter and challenging the golfer to carry shots over the imposing chasms.
